Project coordination: manage decisions alongside the schedule

Business area: Project Implementation & Coordination
A schedule can show a task as in progress while the team is actually waiting for a decision. Identify the decisions needed for each milestone: scope confirmation, sample approval, data access or acceptance of a deliverable.
Maintain a decision log with the question, available options, owner, required date and affected tasks. When a decision changes, record the effect on time, cost and scope before updating the plan. Keep the approved version accessible to all participating teams.
Use working meetings to resolve the oldest or most consequential blockers. Close an item only when the result is recorded and the next team can act on it. This approach turns status reporting into practical coordination.
