Begin with the actual transaction: parties, product or service, territory, information exchanged and payment flow. Identify which questions require a qualified adviser in the relevant jurisdiction. A generic checklist cannot settle the legal requirements of every transaction.
For PRC contracts, Civil Code Article 470 lists common contract matters including subject matter, quality, remuneration, performance and dispute resolution. Use that as a discussion starting point, then ask counsel to review the specific arrangement. Turn agreed obligations into an operating checklist with an owner and evidence of completion.
Review changes in the product, market or contracting party before reusing old documents. Preserve approved versions and escalation records. The practical goal is to help staff know when they may proceed, what they must record and when professional review is required.
