Equity and project investment: connect assumptions with evidence

Business area: Equity & Project Investment
Begin with the claims that matter most to the investment case: customer demand, revenue quality, cost structure, delivery capability and rights to key assets. For each claim, record the source, the date and the person able to explain it.
Build an evidence register with four columns: claim, supporting material, unresolved question and next action. Review the consistency of contracts, receipts and operating records with appropriate advisers. A large document folder is not the same as an answered decision question.
Separate matters that must be resolved before a decision from those requiring later monitoring. Record the agreed conditions and responsible parties. Corporate rights, transaction terms and legal obligations need project-specific professional review; this checklist does not establish that an investment is suitable.
